Leadership positions or titles should be well considered and checked before it’s given or attached to any individual.
When an organization, church, community, society or groups choose a mediocre as a leader, such surfers, lack, shame, setbacks and more. In most cases, it happens, when individuals that are qualified for this leadership title or positions make themselves unavailable.
I have heard of an organization where qualified individuals stayed back for reasons known to them, gave a mediocre with degree the baton to run the organization, and for two years, the only song and achievement of the so called President was, ” I am the president, I have the veto power to do what I so desire’, and that was all he did for 2 years. It was 2 years of failure, set back, confusion, disrespect, and lack of growth.
When such things happens in an organization that has a Constitution that has stated it’s policies clearly and plainly, then it becomes serious pain in the bone for better and innocent individuals behind such.
Organisations that allow such, gives room to unimaginable, unspeakable and unacceptable acts from such individuals that has given such mandate.
The position of a leader is a very delicate one, that brings unity or division among its members, but unfortunately, it has been so abused that the core reason for choosing or having a leader is abused.
In a settings where all worthy leaders are away, and will not attend meetings to choose or make right decision of a qualified leader/leadership title, at the very moment the choice might not be wrong but with time, the position will get to a mediocre’s head,, then unimaginable drama will begin to be acted and displayed.
When the cabal also believes that an individual chosen for a leadership position should be one that will be obedient and not diligent, then the repercussion is also always very high. Such individuals dances to the tune of the cabal, and most times can’t deliver to the expectations of the masses. It’s all about dancing to the tune of the pipe.
In a settings, where a mediocre in an unworthy position sees himself as a small god, instead of seeing service to humanity he sees dictatorship as a way of displaying his relevance, telling the administration never to do anything without his permission or consent, will foolishly dive the ship of such an organization into destruction because he can never make a right choice. His level of mediocrity will spell doom for the organization.
How can a leader, a so called no one citizen of an organization choose feasting with the organization funds rather than pay some important debts of the organization? And he says, it’s our money, let us eat it.
How can a leader of an organization deceive worthy members to a conference out of their comfort zones for 4 days to have the organization s name on the register for attendance, and then insist on giving the conference materials and take home to another mediocre like him who sat in the comfort of his home and didn’t attend the conference, saying that is the person he feels like giving it to?
How can a leader of an organization be a great confusionist whose words never match his actions at any point in time. Integrity means nothing to him.
How can a leader give the organization money singlehandedly from the organizations purse to an individual who stole from the organization saying he feels he should get something even if he’s been layed off?
How do we explain a leader that ripped off committed executive members of their positions after so much sacrifices, saying they are not committed enough, when in all honesty each of the excos are more committed than himself, only for him to replace them with complete new members, that are his friends that knows nothing about the organization?
How do we explain a mediocre of a leader who sees every growth opportunities from other members as an insult to him, because the idea didn’t come from him.
Yes I know and accept the fact that EGO, can never ever accept the truth, but it is stupidly of the highest order when a mediocre condemns the growth efforts of the members claiming he not not carried along with the moves.
Watching a full mediocre giving an absurd instructions and order to the majority who knows better than him with the threat that if his instructions are not followed, he will drop the unworthy title given to him in the first instance.
A saying is justified. When the wise and smart ones refuse to speak or take up leadership positions, the foolish ones will rule and foist dictatorship.
For a positive change, the narrative of giving the role of leadership out for the sake of filling a position has to be re considered.
We live in a time, where intelligent people are being silenced for stupid people not to feel offended.
You can’t give what you don’t have. Our capacities and capabilities should be key.
