The 15th Annual Convention of LordArise Global Christian Church has climaxed on an exciting, glorious note with an admonition to Christians to do everything at their disposal not to constitute hindrance to the mission of Jesus to re-write their destinies.
General Overseer of the Church which was founded in 2010, Pastor Frank Adeyemi said any Christian who fails to have personal experiential knowledge of Jesus as an Advocator will continue to suffer unabated.
The Annual Grace Convention of the LordArise Global Christian Church incorporated which signposted a 96-hour experience of worship, praises, word exposition, healing and deliverance from Thursday running till Sunday.
Venue was the LordArise Glorious Help Mountain located on a sprawling expanse of land at Gudo area of Oke-Aregba, Abeokuta.
Theme of the Convention was “Advocator” taken from John 8: 1- 11.
Hear Pastor Adeyemi’s homily: “Jesus is the master shaper and recreator of our destinies. No matter the magnitude of your sins, Jesus did not come as a destroyer but as Redeemer.
“The salient question to ask is this. Who is this Advocator? Any Christian who doesn’t know the Advocator will fail in life and will continue to suffer without remedy.
“You may not see your pastor as advocate but you must strive to see Jesus in order to have experiential knowledge of Him. His name is Emmanuel.He is present with you everywhere.
“One good thing to note is that Jesus loves sinners very deeply. He has come to work vigorously on sinners and to see them beyond condemnation of Satan and up to grant them justification and vindication.
“God will not listen to anybody to determine your case. He has the final say always. We are constantly facing accusations and condemnation.
“The state where you are now is you’re being left with Jesus alone who fortunately is a helper. Jesus did not come to allow any law of destruction upon your life.
“You are not too dirty to be cleansed. Advocator is the one Satan always report you to but Jesus will never allow that because He does what he likes.
“Satan always bring trials and temptation to the believers. Advocator is the wisest Judge to conquer for you and make you overcome
“Jesus is the only wise God. He is fully aware that all have sinned. For this reason, Jesus as Advocator hijacked the woman caught in adultery from the hands of pharisees, publicans and the religious people of that time, using heavenly wisdom. As believers, the onus is on us not to hinder him but to create room for him in our hearts so that he will fully deliver in his mission as Advocator”
