At the Annual General Meeting of the Nigeria Computer Society(NCS), members and participants of *“ConNovate 2025”* showered accolades on Prof. Saidat Adebukola Onashoga, the outgoing Chairman of the NCS Conferences Committee.
They commended her exceptional leadership, highlighting the innovations brought into having a seamless registration process and strategies for food entertainment and other logistics for the first time in the history of NCS.
Another member, Miss Maryam commended the tremendous changes experienced at the conference, particularly in registration, while Ajayi Cornelius attributed the entire organization’s success to Prof. Onashoga’s style of leadership.
In a separate meeting with Conference Committee members, they praised her as a “second-to-none individual” who operated like a family to everyone, making her tenure unforgettable.
Mallam Muhammad Bokabo, Dr. Pius Ejodanem, Dr. Yinka Oyerinde, Madam Grace Ataeta, Mrs. Margaret John-David, and others commended her sterling leadership, coordination, and commitment to excellence. They encouraged her to take on future leadership roles in NCS.
Prof. Onashoga’s two-year tenure (September 2023 – September 2025) has left a lasting impact on the NCS Conferences Committee, and her legacy as a leader will be remembered for years to come.
