Okitipupa-born Assistant Director, Operations at the Nigeria Postal Service(NIPOST), Mrs Caroline Seun Ogundele, has gracefully bowed out of service, after she clocked 60 on Wednesday.
Mrs Ogundele who began her illustrious career in the Public Service in 1992 as a Postal Officer II on grade Level 04, rose through the rank into the Directorate cadre, serving meritoriously.

Born on October, 1965, Mrs. Caroline Seun Ogundele is the beloved daughter of Chief and Mrs. E. O. Akinnusi of Ijokodo in the ancient town of Okitipupa, Ondo State.
Her quest for education began in 1973 at St. Paul’s Anglican Primary School, Okitipupa, where she laid the foundation of her academic journey.
Upon completing her primary education in 1978, she proceeded to the prestigious Methodist High School, Okitipupa, and obtained her West African School Certificate in 1983.

Building an incredible educational path as a life-long learner, Caro, as she is fondly called, gained admission into The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where she earned her Ordinary National Diploma(OND) in Mass Communication in 1990.
Her illustrious career at NIPOST was with a humble beginning as she started from the very bottom until she climbed to the almost the zenith.
Never one to rest on her oars, she returned to The Polytechnic, Ibadan, in 1995 to obtain her Higher National Diploma(HND) in Mass Communication.
Her thirst for knowledge further led her to the University of Ibadan, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science(B.Sc.) in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Managerial Psychology, and another Master’s in Educational Psychology.
She is presently rounding off her Doctorate Degree, which will soon crown her outstanding academic pursuit.
Throughout her career at NIPOST, Mrs. Ogundele distinguished herself as a diligent, resilient, and result-oriented officer.
Her exemplary service saw her rise through the ranks to the position of Assistant Director (Operations).
Over the years, she has served meritoriously in various capacities, including:
Investigation Officer (2005–2009), Bulkpost Manager(2010–2013),
Territorial Quality of Service Manager (2013–2017) and
Zonal Quality of Service Manager(2017–2022)
State Quality of Service Manager, positions she held with distinction.
A woman of integrity, discipline, and uncommon dedication, Mrs. Ogundele leaves behind a legacy of professionalism and excellence in public service.
Though she lost her beloved husband in 2023, Mrs. Ogundele remains a proud mother, blessed with wonderful children who continue to bring her joy.
As she bowed out gracefully after decades of selfless service, many of her colleagues eulogized her as a woman of purpose, passion, and perseverance.
