Despite the heavy showers of rain that was experienced in most parts of Abeokuta on Wednesday, the much-publicized Ago-Egun For Christ Crusade was a huge success.
Worshippers who thronged the Crusade in their hundreds defied the rains in praises to draw the hand of God whose presence was visibly manifest throughout the almost four hour service.

Ago-Egun, a downtown area of the ancient city accustomed with a high concentration of idol worship literally came alive with the traditional head and Baale of the community, Chief Adegboyega Oyeneye, leading other ministers of God in ministrations.
The Crusade is a collaboration of three independent Ministries targeted at aggressively beaming the light of the Gospel to break satanic shackles and bondages that have held down remarkable development of the community.

The church organizations are the Aquila and Priscilla Help Ministry founded by the Baale, Pastor Oyeneye, Get Ready Ministries spearheaded by Evangelist Taiwo Ola and LordArise Global Christian Church led by the General Overseer, Pastor Frank Adeyemi.
Ministering yesterday, Pastor Frank Adeyemi quoted copiously from Matthew 11: 28, admonishing those in attendance to accept the great invitation of Jesus in order to experience total rest.

According to him, the first requirement is for people to surrender the keys of their souls to Jesus Christ as Personal Lord and Saviour.
The Crusade continues today and would be rounded off on Friday.
