Erudite media scholar and veteran journalist, Prof. Dele Odunlami is set to deliver the 119th Inaugural Lecture of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State on Tuesday August 13, 2024.
The lecture will hold by 2pm at Otunba Gbenga Daniel(OGD) Lecture Theatre, Main Campus of the University.
Vice-Chancellor of the Institution, Prof. Ayodeji O.J. Agboola will expectedly chair the lecture.
Title of the lecture is Moving The Ancient Landmarks: How Technology Deconstructs the Mass Media
According to a statement from the Deputy Vice Chancellor(Admin) who doubles as Chairman, Academic Ceremonies Committee, Prof Charles Adekoya guests are expected to be seated by 1:30pm
Odunlami, a top-rate media professional media professional is a Professor of Broadcast Journalism and currently Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences at the Institution.
He previously was Head, Department of Mass Communication, with academic credentials which include B.A. English (Ed) Hons (Ogun) PGD in Journalism (Lagos) and MCA (Ibadan), MA (Ibadan), PhD (Ilisan).
