Burial plans for the late Igogo-Ekiti born trader and community leader, Mrs Cecelia Ogunleye, mother of Dr Foluso Arowojolu, has been fixed for Thursday 25th April and Friday 26th April, 2024.
The late Mrs Ogunleye transited to glory in the early hours of Sunday February 18, 2024.
According to a statement from the family, the Christian wake-keep service will hold on Thursday April 25 while the burial service and interment is expected to hold on Friday April 26 in Igogo-Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Going by the programme of events, venue of the wake-keep is at her residence, D22, Isalu Street, Igogo-Ekiti by 5pm.
A funeral service will hold on Friday 26th April at the St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral Catholic Church, Igogo-Ekiti by 10am to be followed by reception and entertainment of guests at the open field at St. Micheal Nursery and Primary School, Igogo-Ekiti.
The late Mrs Ogunleye was aged 78 and a devout catholic in her life time.
The deceased had spent over 44 years in widowhood having lost her husband, Mathew Ogunleye, the then Personnel Manager, Nigeria Paper Mill, Jebba, early in life as at February 13, 1980.
She is survived by Dr Foluso Arowojolu, Mrs Yemisi Fabunmi and Pastor Kunle Ogunleye.
